I want to first introduce you to BUNN, the company behind the equipment of this trial program.

1963

George Bunn established BUNN Corporation in 1963, and introduced the first automatic commercial drip brewer that same year.

We’ve been focusing on the study of cold brew coffee, and different, exciting formats of how we can deliver this to customers.

Anatomy of a Nitro Cold Brew

Why we love cold brew

Sweet & Soft

Nitrogen gas, injected to give the cold brew a sweet, creamy, foamy texture.

Boldness Defined

The best blends in the world, expressed in the boldest ways. Beans from Colombia, Ethiopia, Brazil and beyond.

Water the Unifier

The freshest water, used to steep the cold brew into a concentrate.

The Nitron, feature by feature

The BUNN Nitron is a compact, countertop commercial dispenser designed to serve nitro-infused and still cold brew coffee, teas, and other beverages.

Introducing the BUNN

BUNN

So BUNN started to design a cold brew beverage system that would be able to capture all the best bits of cold brew, but add an element of surprise to it. And this is what they came up with:

A drawing sheet showing front, side and plan views of a countertop dispenser, with a mechanical pencil beside it.
A cold brew concentrate pouch, shown at the scale of a building with people walking past it.

Cold brew concentrate, rated at 20 Brix, attaches to the equipment. It is diluted with water at 12:1 and infused with nitrogen gas to create the signature Nitron cold brew texture.

Changing a pack

Push the line on, and it pours.

  • CleanNothing is poured and nothing is measured, so there is nothing to spill.
  • EasyOne connector, one hand. A pack change takes seconds and needs no tools.
  • SanitaryThe concentrate stays sealed from pack to tap — no open hopper to wash down.

Packs come in two sizes — a 500ml pouch and a 1500ml bag‑in‑box.
